What is Sea Pottery? Similar in concept to sea glass, sea pottery started off as porcelain and dinnerware. When discarded into the ocean (sometimes by shipwreck), it broke apart in shards that tumbled in the bottom of the ocean for decades. Most sea pottery throughout the world is thought to be from the 18th and 19th centuries, when porcelain was at its height of production.

Flotsam & Co. is the ORIGINAL CREATOR of these 24kt gold dipped shells and found items. Oftentimes we dive in excess of 100+ feet to find incredible rare shells and sea treasure. Each piece of sea pottery is displayed exactly as found, without alteration.
